GOOGLE SUITE, earlier known as Google Apps is a collaboration of popular applications, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Hangouts, Google Calendar, and Google Docs etc. While these products are available to consumers free of charge, Google Apps for Education (GAFE) offers additional features such as custom email addresses, minimum 30 GB of storage for documents and email, and 24/7 phone and email support.
CMS provides a customized email address to all it’s CMS staff (firstname.lastname@cmseducation.org) and students from grade 6 onwards (firstname.lastname@cmselearning.org). These Gmail IDs are required by the staff to exchange documents, login into Teacher’s Dashboard, create Google Classrooms, receive official communications, etc.
Google Drive is employed in CMS to not just create, share, collaborate and store important files but also sync files between their computer and the cloud with a desktop application. Google Drive of Google Apps for Education (GAFE) includes 10 TB of storage available to be used across Gmail, Drive and Google+ Photos.
With the ease with which Google Calendar blends with Gmail, Classroom and Google Sites, CMS aims to integrate Calendar for better management of staff schedules. The best feature Calendar offers is that individual schedules can be delegated to another person to manage a specific calendar and events.
Google Doc is an integrated feature of Google Drive. CMS urges it’s staff to use Google Doc not just because it provides similar features as native editing in MS Word, but also gives an option to be stored and managed in the drive and shared by multiple people at once to allow real-time editing. .
Google sheet is an integrated feature of Google Drive. CMS urges it’s staff to use Google Sheet not just because it provides similar features as native editing, tabulation of data, application of formulae and data analysis in MS Excel, but also provides an option to be stored and managed in the drive and shared by multiple people at once to allow real-time editing.
CMS staff is encouraged to use google slides to create presentations that can shared, commented on, and co-edited in real time. Additionally it allows offline access that lets people work on their documents without internet connection
CMS supports the idea of blended learning platform for schools that aims at promoting virtual learning and simplify creating, distributing and grading assignments in a paperless way. CMS staff is encouraged to use Google Form so that they can plan events, make a survey or poll, teaching staff can give students a quiz, or collect other information in an easy, streamlined way with Google Forms. Create a form in Google Drive or from an existing spreadsheet that can record the responses of the form.
CMS aims to introduce Google Photos as the ultimate photo and video storage platform for photos upto 16megapixels and videos up to 1080p resolution. The app allows users to backup their photos to the cloud service, which can be accessible from multiple devices.

CMS has integrated Google Sites to maintain important web-pages that allows the admin to create and edit web pages with no or minimum coding or web design.
