CMS has embarked whole-heartedly in embracing technology in its teaching, learning and administration and taking learning to a whole new level. With introduction of ERP, 1111 Interactive Whiteboards, online resources and cloud-based teaching, there is constant need for the staff to possess required digital skills so that they are able to use technology to it’s maximum potential.
For this purpose, elearning Department conducts training session for CMS Staff. All Teaching, Non-Teaching & Head Office Staff are required to undertake these mandatory Training for greater efficiency in their routine tasks.
With a myriad of customised training the elearning department has branched out to cater to the IT needs of Dance/ Music and PE Teachers as well. eLearning Department also offers tailored training sessions to Cambridge Board staff at it’s Gomti Nagar Campus II. The IT Trainers from eLearning Department and IT Assistants leave no stone unturned to make ensure the training are and the staff learns the skills such as IWB use, OER, MS Office, Google Suite including Google Classroom, Internet and Cyber Ethics. All trainees have to follow a defined roadmap where they need to undergo trainings and clear the Level via an online assessment.
There are two dedicated IT Training Centres at Gomti Nagar II and Station Road for training session with state-of-the-art computers and infrastructure. The CMS IT Portal is used to schedule and manage the training with automated booking, generation of training history and informative reports.

Each of the above sets have a syllabus which are divided into Basic (Level 1) , Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3). Each level is further divided into Modules which covers different set of IT skills.
Great emphasis is given to training of CMS staff for the implementation of various techonologies. For this purpose, campus Computer labs and eLearning Centres are used. However, for a more productive training, CMS is equipped with dedicated training centres at Gomti Nagar II and Station Road Campus. This space allows staff from different CMS campuses to have a hands-on on various software and computer applications.
All CMS staff are encouraged to undergo IT training which is recorded in their Individual Learning Plan (ILP). Upon completion of the training, trainees are eligible to appear for the Assessments. Most of the assessments are online and the results are announced within 1 week There is no limit on the number of attempts, however an evaluation of the training needs may be done to ensure all gaps are addressed.
